My Journey in the Quran Competition
Written By: Amany Reda Suliman, Grade 4
Greetings, everyone! I am Amany Reda Soliman, a proud member of Class 4G DSA. Allow me to transport you back to one of the most exhilarating moments of my school life, etched deep within my heart. Picture this: Grade 3, during a pivotal moment in a Quran competition. Amidst a bustling room filled with competitors, I, Amany Reda, stood resolute, whispering words of encouragement to myself, "You are capable, you are strong." As destiny beckoned, I found myself at the forefront, the first to be summoned by the sheikh.
Summoning every ounce of courage within me, I faced the formidable array of questions posed by the sheikh, navigating through each with unwavering resolve. Yet, it was the encounter with a particularly intricate verse that truly put my knowledge to the test. Surpassing even my own expectations, I emerged victorious, answering flawlessly and leaving the room momentarily spellbound.
As the anticipation mounted and the awards ceremony loomed, a glimmer of hope ignited within me. Could it be? Dare I hope for third place, perhaps even second? With bated breath, I awaited the announcement, each moment fraught with anticipation. Then, like a bolt from the blue, my name, Amany Reda, resonated throughout the hall, a symphony of triumph.
Overwhelmed with euphoria, I ascended the stage, my heart pounding with an indescribable sense of accomplishment. In that fleeting moment, as I clasped my well-deserved prize, I was engulfed by a wave of jubilation, my spirit soaring to new heights.
And so, dear friends, as I reminisce upon that unforgettable day, I am reminded that sometimes, amidst life's trials and tribulations, the sweetest victories await those who dare to believe in themselves. Truly, it was a day like no other, a testament to the power of perseverance, and a memory that shall forever be cherished as the pinnacle of my academic journey.
